grabbed!

i don’t know if this is the right word, but there are a lot of harsh words that i can use but i choose to use grabbed to described what happened with my photo.

last August, I attended MYX Slamjam in DLSUD. I was asked to document the event. I said yes, since the council who organized the said event has been my friends over the past years. And I think this will be a great opportunity for me to do events photography.

The event ended so well.

Few weeks after the event, one staff from newsette (newsletter of our school) asked for some of my photos and I agreed with the condition that they will put credits on my photos. and I was so honored that my photos has been chosen to be at the newsletter.

Little did I know that that same article and my photos will be published in Manila Bulletin, a broadsheet newspaper here in the Philippines. Instead of being happy about it, I found my photo published in the newspaper WITHOUT my name on it. plus they also cropped the photo so that my watermark won’t be seen.

I am really upset about it. :(
